I see red people.

No, you didn’t have too much to drink last night. Or maybe that should be it’s not only that you had to much to drink last night. The questionable focus of this shot is thanks to it being snapped in a hurry. My camera was in my bag and we were in the back of a tuk tuk screaming down the street. That I didn’t instead get the back of the tuk tuk driver’s head is miraculous. That Noom didn’t rush me to the nearest psychiatric ward when I wouldn’t let him delete it from my computer is an even bigger miracle.

I love this shot. I’d love it even more if the depth of field was greater than half an inch. But it is so SE Asia and a wonderful salute to the Ubiquitous Plastic Stool. Even though that was not the intent. This photo is from a trip – and I’m guessing it was the trip that ‘Red’ was my photographic theme – far before I decided to document the 12.8 million Ubiquitous Plastic Stools in Bangkok. I’d enter it in SGT’s photography competition but obviously it would be the hands-down winner and that just wouldn’t be fair to the other entrants.
