Today in the States is Labor Day, the day we celebrate the working man, a national holiday that came about back in 1894 as an appeasement to the violence caused by the Pullman Strike which brought about collective bargaining and the unions. It’s probably a good thing that few remember what the holiday is about since this last year the state of Wisconsin, Lyin’ Ryan’s home state, put the kabosh to collective bargaining for many worthless jobs like those held by teachers, fire fighters, and the police.

As tempting as it is to post a series of asses in honor of our new national take on unions, I’ll go with some hottie blue collar workers instead – enjoy them now they could soon go the way of 8-track tapes if the ‘job creators’ have their way.
