The USA added four more gold medals to its haul, almost doubling the number won so far in London. The Fab Five, otherwise known as jumping fish, took the team finals in women’s gymnastics amidst a hell of a lot of tears and screeching. And that was just from the men’s team cheering them on.

22-year-old Allison Schmitt won her second gold medal and set a new Olympic record with her time of 1:53.61 in the 200m freestyle. Um, Missy who?

And we won our second gold in skeet shooting too. Yes, skeet shooting. Vincent Hancock topped his own Olympic record by hitting 123 targets in qualifying earlier Tuesday, and was a perfect 25-for-25 in the medal round. That’s Vincent’s second straight gold medal for plugging skeet.

Michael Phelps became the most decorated Olympian of all time, winning his 19th gold medal as part of the men’s 4×200 freestyle relay. The coaches made a smart call and had him anchor the team, pushing Lochte up to the initial leg after he blew the anchor spot in the last relay.

And yes, China is still kicking our ass.

Ready to take one for the team in honor of the women’s gymnastics team winning gold in the team finals. Grand job girls! Now maybe you can convince Bela Karolyi to stop doing your makeup.

Congrats Vince, and thanks too! Now, ready, and: Pull!

Way to go Allison!

The gold medal for the men’s 4×200 moves Phelps up to be the most decorated Olympian of all time. And if that doesn’t deserve frontal I don’t know what does.
