I don’t know what it is about cars from the 50s, but there’s an appeal there that car manufacturers have never been able to duplicate. It’s not unusual to run across one lovingly restored in America; it’s always a surprise to run across one in Thailand. But then they have their own transpo version from days gone by that manages to capture that same appeal. The difference is those are still in use in Bangkok.
