Thai Dragon

Tua Luong Image @ Wat Pathum Wanaram in Bangkok.

The Tua Luong is an aquatic beast born of a father dragon and a mother naga. Not seen nearly as often in Thai temples as the Naga are, the image came from China and was assimilated into Thai beliefs and religious imagery. The difference between the two is that the Tua Luong always has two wings, one on each side, and the feet of a dragon. Nagi do not.
