Mosquitoes are a fact of life in the tropics. The little ones that we called No See’ums in Hawaii are the nasty ones. You don’t see them, seldom hear them, and don’t know there was any in the room until you start feeling an itch from where they’d been busy sucking the blood out of your body. The irritation of a mosquito bite is minor. At least compared to the tropical diseases like malaria and dengue fever thy can leave as a thanks for their supper. Thais tend to ignore them knowing they prefer farang blood and there’s always some farang around to serve as the sacrificial goat.

The device uses a video camera to capture the invisible and inaudible signals of natural phenomena such as ghosts. The signals are then converted into a “killer wave” radio signal that destroys bad spirits. Of course not all spirits are bad ghosts. And you wouldn’t want to kill off the spirit of great-great grandma. No worries, the company promises “ The machine can distinguish the phenomenon signal input, good spirit and bad spirit has its characteristic, the device will ignore or skip the good spirit.”
