I gotta admit I did find that funny. And not all that far off the mark either.
I learnt of Gemstone Hotel on your website, and despite living in that area have not heard of it before. So I went to search for it and found it. Days later, I could help tourists who were looking for it.
Fast forward, some days ago, I spotted some helpless tourists asking locals for this very place. It was just a round the corner, and again without my help the tourists would have wandered around much longer.
This place is very poorly labelled and not known to taxi drivers and locals. I wonder how many people had a reservation but went elsewhere because they couldn’t find it.
Directions: From Malaysia or Ibis Sathorn walk east on Soi Sri Bam Pen and take the dead end soi opposite Mr OK shop / Wong’s Place / XTEN. Gemstone is at the end. If you look carefully, you will spot a sign “Gemstone” at the entrance of the soi.
See! If I only posted pix of twinks, that’s all anyone would ever pay attention to.
