When I started this initial 7 Shots series, with the inaugural set of posts being the best of the best, I wasn’t sure what criteria I’d end up using to decide what would qualify a photo as the best. There’ a lot of different, and subjective, qualities you could choose in making that call. By the second post I decided, as travel photography, that had to be those pictures that immediately bring back a range of memories of a place you’ve been. No problemo.
Unexpectedly, that morphed into posting a shot from a different locals in SE Asia for each of the preceding six shots. #7 was a more difficult choice. Go with a country I’d not yet posted a photo of? One that encompassed the entire region? Yet another Monk Shot? Jokingly I’d said back on the first post that any list of my personal best of the bet shots would have to include one of Noom, preferably in all of his glory. But now, using that definition of both place I’ve been and a photo that instantly stirs a wide-range of memories, that idea no longer sounds so far fetched.
If I’d asked him back when I stared this series, I’m sure he would have chimed in that a photo of him had to be included. Duh. But then he’d probably have said all seven should be of him too. Huh. That may yet come to pass in a future 7 Shots post.

Noom must make a fortune from all of these photos of him that you post here. I assume you are paying him the standard 10,000 baht upfront fee per photo plus the 100 baht per photo per day. 😉

What!
No sorry. I charge him 5,000 baht for the photo shoot, another 1,000 for prints, and 10K for publishing them. You think it’s cheap being an internet star?

“Cheap Charlie” for sure. 😉 Noom practically devotes his life to almost only you, but “you not take care him.” It’s been years since the “set up a business for him” promise, but no action.

I did post one of those a while back, but without giving it a name. Noom says no face with cock shots allowed of him on my blog. Well, actually what he said was, “I keel you!”

He’s much more impressive in person. And well worth getting to know better. I hope he’s still in Bangkok when I come for my next holiday.

Better without the facial hair too!

No no, I really, really like him better with the facial hair! I think it actually makes him look younger. More raffish, so to speak. Like an Asian Harlequin cover hero – Barbara Cartland might have drooled over him, too!
(God…”raffish”…Harlequin novel and B. Cartland…I’m really showing my age with that one.
