One of the more unusual sights I’ve run across in Bangkok is the back wall to this small wat not far from Khaosan Road. Wats in Thailand are generally open to all and you seldom see any type of protective measures or security to protect the riches inside. I’d like to think this over the top attempt at keeping people from hopping over the wall was someone’s hairbrained idea rather than a measure put into place out of necessity. Either way it just doesn’t seem Buddhist like.
