The USA’s Olympic gold medal count is now at five with two more added by our swim team. Missy Franklin took home the gold after she finished the 100M backstroke in just 58.33 seconds, which she was probably slightly more proud of than having Michael Phelps call her a stud. Something tells me Mikey isn’t all that smooth with the girls.

The men responded by claiming the gold in the same event. Matt Grevers used his massive 6’ 8” frame to leave the field in his wake, clocking his win in at 52:16, a new Olympic record for the event Team USA has won the gold in at the last five Olympics.
