Ah, so good to see someone who shares my taste in men. You even managed to post a pic of Jang Jae Hoon, who happens to be a favorite of mine. And since you’re posting hot Korean men, maybe next you’ll go for the serious muscle and feature Oh Kyung Mo. 😛
Hi BKB have enjoyed reading your blog but I was just wondering, you mentioned racial preferences that some bar bois/bars have e,g. No Arabs etc. Being a black gay African I was wondering
1. Have you encountered blacks(Africans) in Thailand in general?
2. What view do you think Thai bar bois have of black people, would they for instance consider offing with a black guy.(would prefer if Noom could answer this one even if it is only on your next trip)
3. Be as honest as possible with above 🙂
You’ve obviously worked long and hard in life to be able to afford the pleasures you indulge in so I envy you. Wish you all the best with Noom he seems like the sweet guy all gay guys fantasize about.
Just another question: Noom seems very concerned about you becoming “butterfly” and “lub me when I’m fat and old” and has gone to some lengths to ensure the relationship you share goes beyond just flesh. Does he display signs of being posessive/jealous in a sense that he is threatened you might find a hot young stunner who will make you “fall in love ” all over again? Would you yourself rule this out from ever happening? If it did happen how would you deall with.
Quite a mouthful I know but you deserve it for making me dump my romance novels in favour of you blog 🙂
If I had anything to do with your giving up romance novels musiqlava, then I deserve a thanks!
🙂
Oy, okay . . . I haven’t seen the No Arabs signs in ages. Currently Indians seems to have a rough go at it. Both are/were do to perceived common traits. Arabs did not treat their offs well, Indians have a rep for being notoriously cheap. So in those cases it was a matter of respect and money, not skin color.
Not that you are off the hook. Nigerians have been making a study headway into Bangkok the last few years. They tend to be scammers, drug pushers, and pimps. I’d guess some big time gang influence is at work, or they’d never be so open about their biz. The locals who can avoid them.
I do see black tourists, though not often. Years ago I made a trip with a group of friends that included a black lesbian. No one treated her any differently than the rest of us other than Thai women all seemed to want to touch her hair. There is a black American who posts on SGT and has for some time. I don’t recall ever hearing anything negative about his experiences in Thailand based on race. But do recall he seemed to get a lot of action.
One frequent reader here reported back that as he was concerned that non-Japanese Asian customers are also perceived as bad tippers, his first night in town he spent and tipped freely. Rather ingenious way of making himself appear to be a good catch, I thought. I think if you are friendly, fun, and not cheap, any other possible faults you may have the guys are willing to over look. In any case, I doubt they would be any less attracted to you due to race than they are with their usual customer, an obese white senior citizen.
But I will sound Noom out on the question, I too would be interested in hearing his feelings on the subject.
I think Noom is fairly sure of his position with me and does not feel threatened by younger guys at all. I start every trip off with plans on offing a large number of hotties before hooking up with Noom and have but for a few times always given him a call once I land in town instead. So the chances of me finding some younger hot guy and falling in love, again, are slim. Possible. But slim.
If that did happen, I’d be up front with Noom about it. And would still have a place for him in my heart as well as feeling an obligation to take care of him and his future. The relationship would change, but I don’t see it ever ending. But seriously, I don’t think that will be a problem.
Thanks for the comment, two interesting subjects to think about!
Sorry I just realised I minght have unintentionally spammed your blog. I thought the comments were supposed go up instantly but when i posted it kept telling me error, error so I kept on trying. Soweeee 🙂

I will have to make a point of doing that John. That boy’s got the most incredible six pack in the world!

Yep. Oh Kyung Mo has a set of abs I’d recognize anywhere. I could ID them without having to see his face.
Korea doesn’t hold much interest for me culturally, but it sure as hell seems to produce some hot dudes.
