Wat Bowonniwet Wiharn Offerings

While altars and in front of Buddha statues are popular places for Thais to leave offerings at wats, anywhere seems to be as good of a spot. It’s not unusual to run across offerings hanging on fences, door knobs, statues . . . you name it. I love these little religious tableaus, and am surprised as lemming-like as Thais are that they have no problem charting new territories when it comes to placing religious offerings. These photos are from Wat Bow Wow, by Khaosan Road in Bangkok.
