The soon to be released October edition of ESPN magazine features a photo spread of Olympic athletes under the title of “Bodies We Want.” Among the sexy, toned, naked bodies of some of the world’s hottest sportsmen on display in the magazine is the ever adorable Olympic speed skating champion Apolo Anton Ohno (sigh).
The winter Olympics have never been as much of a draw for me as their warmer weather brother, probably because the former has nowhere near as many almost naked competitors as the latter. But then ever since the swimming events dumped skimpy speedos in favor of long johns, even that attraction has paled. I have though tuned in for every set of games that Apolo competed at after catching sight of him back in his first appearance in 2002.
The 29 year-old hunk with the world’s best thighs is the most decorated American Winter Olympic athlete of all time. His speed skating outfit has never left much to the imagination, but seeing him in (almost all of) his full glory is undeniably a treat.
I’ve always thought that Apolo Ohno was cute. And of course, because of his sport, he has really great lower body development (ass and legs), which I am all for. A few years ago, however, I remember seeing an “almost nude” photograph of him (somewhere) and it seemed that his development was very bottom-heavy (like I said, all ass and legs,…..but not very much development above the waist). In these photos, though, he looks very, very good. Between looking more toned above the waist, the long hair, the nice smooth skin and coloration all over, and those poses, the dude is looking very hot (to me). And I think (perhaps) that this photographer knew better how to shoot him.

Maybe it wasn’t this photographer, but that the others should have stripped him naked, too?
