Yup, another holiday, another flimsy excuse to post some eye candy.

Today in the States is Labor Day, a rather odd date in our holiday calendar that celebrates the deaths of 13 workers and the injury of 57 more at the hands of the U.S. Military during the Pullman Strike in 1894.

The strike became a nationwide conflict between labor unions and the railroads that involved more than 250,000 workers in 27 states at its peak. Rather than face further conflict with the labor movement, President Cleveland pushed legislation through Congress making Labor Day a national holiday a mere six days after the end of the strike.

Give Americans a reason to party and we’ll ignore petty little matters of social injustice every time.

And we’ll also quickly forget them. Today, Labor Day is nothing more than the signal of the end of summer. So before all those ripe bodies disappear inside winter wear, enjoy these hot models pretending they actually work for a living.
