Wandering about the streets of Bangkok always guarantees photo ops of little slices of daily life in the Kingdom. Good thing, too. I’ve made so many trips there that I’ve shot all the ‘big’ stuff numerous times (i.e., the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, etc.). These days I’ll often pick a theme to shoot over the length of my trip. Last time it was ‘red’. Simple enough. Amazing how that started focusing my eye on little things, though. This is a shot from a 50’s car show being held out front of the MBK shopping mall. The red tail lights were my original goal. A step back and I saw the monochromatic surrounding scene, even better. Another few steps back and I had a nice juxtaposition of old style USA transpo against the backdrop of old style Thailand transpo. Sweet!
