Ubiquitous Plastic Stool Shot

Today’s Ubiquitous Plastic Stool shot is a panorama, a plethora of stools lining the shops and stalls of a small indoor pedestrian mall off Thanon Maha Rat where the Mahathat Amulet market is held. I’ve been in the area countless times but had never noticed this covered lane before. It runs off the main road toward the river, and while Thai street signs are always an iffy proposition, seems to be called Thanon Phra Chang Klang. But I’m totally open to be corrected on that.

The burning desire to capture pix of plastic stools was reason enough for the shot, but the green house-like structure was cool in its own right. There are a few small eateries along the lane, but most of the stalls were fortune tellers. I have yet to take the time to track down info on the place via Google, so anyone who knows its story, comment please!
