I tend to subscribe to the W.C. Fields school of thought when it comes to children. I certainly don’t want any of my own, and can tolerate friend’s kids for only small amounts of time. Which often can be measured in seconds. But I have to admit they can make for a good photograph.

I went with temptress for this tyke. But don’t really know if it is a boy or a girl. Its parents didn’t color code it for the day and that means you have a 50/50 chance of making the wrong call. I’m not sure Thais go with the pink/blue color scheme for youngsters, though since they have a color to wear for every day of the week as well as for every political party it’d make sense. I wonder what color they use to designate a future ladyboy?

This little imp was posing its heart out on a bench at the Erawan Three-Headed Elephant Museum. I took several shots. This rather seductive one won the day. I never did see any adults around the kid and it wasn’t until we were driving away that I considered leaving your little kid parked on a bench by itself may not be the best parenting skills. But did make a note that if I ever have one that’s probably a good spot to relieve yourself from one of life’s little burdens.

Now that I think about it, there may be a good reason the gods decided that some of us should be gay.
