A bat but no balls, no problemo. He still look like he’d be worth going for third base.

The medal count at the top end for the end of Day #4 of the 17th Asian Games looks just like it did at the beginning, only larger. China is still in the lead, followed by South Korea and then Japan with a total of 82, 59, and 60, respectively. And yes, they count differently in Asia. Japan should be in second place, but South Korea has more gold medals so they get that spot instead. Or maybe it’s because they are the host nation.

As for the SE Asian nations participating at the Games, Malaysia picked up two more medals for a total of six; Vietnam added another five to bring their haul to twelve; Indonesia now has five medals, one more than it did yesterday; and, Singapore won two more medals and now has six. But the big news for SE Asia was Thailand’s first ever gold meal win; Yannaphon Larp-Apharat stole the limelight at the Anyang Hogye Gymnasium with his first place finish in men’s bowling (singles). The Kingdom also won three bronze medals on Day #4 to bring their overall tally to six.
