No, the lack of postings this week wasn’t just so I’d have an excuse to post this photo. Though you have to admit it was almost worth taking a few days off just to do so. Phil and I took off for a week ago on Friday for a long weekend in Monterey and then got word his Mom was in the hospital so I’ve been down south and away from my computer for the last week. She’s back home and doing much better now. And I’m back to posting . . . tomorrow. But even late, I couldn’t deprive y’all of your Sunday Funnies, so enjoy.
Thanks to all who dropped a note asking if I was okay. Unfortunately for you I am, and the abuse will once again commence . . .
Sort of selfish of me, but I did not email you and ask if you were okay. However, I did worry that this Blog was going away, and missed my daily smile. Glad you are back.
Thanks RW, no problem – and I’m using your comment anyway to pass along a thanks to everyone who did take the time to express their concern about my absence. I would approve and post all of those, but it seems like a Sally Fields “You like me! You really like me!” kinda moment; the kind thoughts, however, were greatly appreciated as is yours after the fact!

In all honesty, I’ve assumed that you’ve sneaked away to Bangkok to have a chat with your bar boy friend. The rainy season is pretty much perfect for a sneaky little trip to our fair shores… lol
But, alas and alack, while I was thinking Noom, you were doing Phil! 😛

I was beginning to wonder where you are. On the other hand, I was away for almost two weeks end of July for holiday (and nobody even noticed!).

Though I looked at my blog’s stats for last week while I wasn’t posting and the visitor count was up . . . huh.
Always inform your parents when you want to stay over with a friend or in this case your regular visitors when you will not post for a day. Otherwise they will file a missing person report 😀
