Team USA added a slew of gold medals to its count over the weekend, bringing the total number to 28. On Saturday, both the men’s and women’s swimming teams finished off their Olympic appearances with gold medal wins in the 4x100m medley relays. We did well on the tennis court too with the Bryan brothers capturing the gold in men’s doubles and the William sisters doing the same for the lady’s competition. Sister Serena also won gold for singles.

Jamie Lynn Gray added another gold medal for our shooting team, our second highest gold medal count sport, scoring hers in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions, and we saw out first golden win on track with Sanya Richards-Ross winning the 400m Women’s race.
